The free web site analysis service, Google Analytics, has temporarily stopped accepting new customers. The excellent service used to cost $199 a month, but Google made it freely available whereupon an avalanche of new users signed up.
Maybe I can sell my Analytics account on eBay?

Robert Cringely’s weekly column talks about Google’s plan for buying so much unused “dark” fiber. It’s not to become an Internet Service Provider (ISP) but rather to stick containerized Google Data Centers around the world “turning the entire Internet into a giant processing and storage grid.”
This guy has some interesting ideas. I better [...]

Replaced Merynn’s infant carrier car seat with a convertible seat. Went with the Britax Marathon seats purchased from Baby Emporium whose prices are good and service is great. Got the playful Ashley Floral and traditional denim Electric Blue.

Wow, just heard that Google stock is at $400 per share!
The company keeps cranking out neato service after service. Google Analytics as a free service is unreal.

The renowned kicksologist, Professor K, is back with a review of Carmelo Anthony’s Jordan Melo 5.5 shoe. A tribute to the old Air Jordan V and VI, the 5.5 gets high marks from the Professor.
For those of you who don’t know Professor K (aka Ernest Kim), he posts the best reviews of kicks starting [...]
I’m starting to get a little concerned about the Tabasco Man and his recent bout with hives. With his new prescription of medication that includes some steroids, he’s getting a little better. His physique is getting pretty buffed up from the ‘roid action, but I think some side effects of all the medication [...]
Patrick Dempsey, currently on the excellent Grey’s Anatomy television show, is on People’s 2005 Sexiest Man Alive list. I must say he’s come a long, long way from his days of Can’t Buy Me Love.

When I saw that People magazine published their 2005 Sexiest Man Alive issue, I well expected to see Wayne’s World topping the list. After all, he was overlooked by Cosmo as the Top Bachelor in Hawaii early this year. But alas, no.
Here’s the 2005 list (with their ages):
Matthew McConaughey (36)
Patrick Dempsey (39)
Terrence Howard [...]
Just finished talking about passing your work on to others, now I’m getting slammed for doing someone else’s work that was assigned to me. Where’s the sense in that?
I wasn’t the first, second, or third choice for this responsibility. Heck, I don’t even have a background in this subject area and even after [...]
Yep, work’s been busy this week. Is this a good thing or bad thing? Who knows? Some of it is good, but again some of this busy work is doing stuff that others should/could be doing. You know how it is. Yeah, I’m all for helping out fellow workers and [...]
Gotta say that after spending some time interacting with our big boss, I’ve learned that he’s a pretty good dude. Has the right intentions and wants to do the right things. As part of Senior Management Leadership, this is pretty refreshing to see.
Hopefully his beliefs carry over into the workplace.

Google just announced its free Analytics service to track and measure web site traffic metrics. Currently, I use the free Site Meter service but may have to check out Google’s offering. Google’s stuff tends to be pretty cool even if it’s the new kid on the block.
Also, I may need Google’s supercomputing capacity [...]
Remember those guys singing about Me, Myself, and I? De La Soul inspired their own Nike Dunk design. In a lemony fresh low top and a way-out-there high top. I’ll pass on both but would go with the low top.

A few reasons that Windward Mall is a (financial) death trap.
About half of the spaces are unoccupied (okay, only 15% unoccupied according to the Star Bulletin in 2004)
Several stores are seasonal and shutdown after the Holidays
Two to three 99-cent stores are open for business
Too many Hawaiiana or craft stores
People still think JC Penneys is still [...]
What’s a darknet? According to CIO.com:
These private, invitation-only networks can be invisible to even state-of-the-art sleuthing… group of individuals who have a covert, dispersed communication channel… creating a private connection that’s unlikely to be detected.
Learned my Internet lesson for the day.

I’ve had my Motorola MPx200 for about a year, and it sucks! The thing runs the Windows Smartphone OS which is mistake #1. It takes forever to power on and be ready to use. When navigating menus, there’s a delay. Reception’s been bad even with the switch from AT&T to Cingular. [...]
In his latest report, Walter Mossberg states that “Apple makes the best computers, and the best operating system, for mainstream consumers.”
On the same day, the Gartner Group recommends that companies hold off on the next version of Windows, Vista, until 2008!!
