Egads! E. Coli?!

Oh great. Just last night I ate a plate of kalua pig, rice, and lomi salmon prepared in Waiahole. Now they find out that the water system in Waiahole is contaminated with E.coli.

What does E.coli do to you? “Infection often leads to bloody diarrhea, and occasionally to kidney failure. Infection can occur after eating undercooked meat, drinking raw milk or swimming in or drinking sewage-contaminated water.” Yikes!

Got to hope for the best…

I hope you did not let Little M eat some of your food.

Also, hopefully it is cleared out by Sept. 9th.

Hopefully it is not the pathogenetic type of E. coli, E. coli O157:H7.
See http://www.about-ecoli.com for more information on that.
