Happy Halloween
Yup, it was a rainy Halloween in Hawaii.
We still went out there for some treats including seeing Kazuo’s pumpkin carving artwork.
The front. The back.

Youth Got Pwned on Dancing with the Stars
What can you say, but the youth movement of Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas got pwned on Dancing with the Stars. The front running couple was shockingly eliminated on Week 6, beat out by the mediocre performances of Marrie Osmond and Jane Seymour.
What happened? I’m guessing the short attention spanned kids [...]
Half Watched Dancing with the Stars
Since I was at a dinner party, I could only half watch Week 6 of Dancing with the Stars. Couldn’t hear the music or critiques too good, just saw the expressions of the judges and dancers.
Sabrina Bryan and Mark. I heard Len mention his light and dark juxtaposition thing again and as usual, [...]

Win Britney’s Blackout!
This is a quick contest spurred on by Coco Bean’s frivolous comment about wanting to win Britney Spears’ latest CD, Blackout. This contest is a simple one - guess when Pulpconnection will hit 35,000 visits. Post a comment with the date and time (to the minute) when you think this milestone will occur. [...]

Guitar Hero Work Party?
For whatever strange reason, I think having a Guitar Hero session at work would be a fun thing. Why, I don’t know, and I’ve never played Guitar Hero I, II, or now III. But it seems like a fun game that anyone can get into.
So commandeer a conference room for an afternoon, ask [...]
Lunch at Tsukiji
Went to a lunch buffet at Tsukiji Fish Market and Restaurant that recently opened at the Ala Moana Ho`okipa Terrace. A big interior with lots of tables, lots of people, lots of space to walk, and lots of food.
The restaurant opens at 11am, and there was a line waiting to get in. Good [...]
Pumpkins, Parenthood, and Dirt!
To keep up with the hip and happening parenting of the Tabasco Man and Coco Bean, the fam headed out to Aloun Farms to nab a pumpkin or two. Even with its popularity, there was still a bunch of pumpkins as the crowds kept coming.
The white pumpkins are freaky looking.
And yeah, you can’t escape [...]
Starbucks Red Eye, Black Eye, and Ghetto Latte
I had a Red Eye at Starbucks after hearing an order for a Black Eye. A Red Eye is regular coffee (iced or hot) with a single shot of espresso added in. A Black Eye has two shots of espresso for some major caffeine-induced jitters. The Red Eye is pretty good and [...]
