On the local radio waves, I’ve been hearing a little more from upcoming artist Lupe Fiasco. Online, I read about this rap star and sampled his music on iTunes. Hearing some fresh R&B-infused rap, I bought his CD, Lupe Fiasco’s the Cool, and I haven’t been disappointed with the purchase.
Like Kanye West, Lupe has insightful rhymes but is a little more hip hop than Kanye. Each track on the Cool is solid - Superstar is great, Hip-Hop Saved My Life is powerful, Go Baby and Go Go Gadget Flow feature fast, catchy beats.
Props for more airplay for Lupe.
