Episode 5, The Elements, of Top Chef finally brought some heat to the tepid series although a little awkwardly. The competitions were okay, and all you got to know is that half of the lesbian couple, Zoi, was eliminated. The heated fun came after Zoi was told to pack her knives as tension boiled over in the “stew” room.
And I say awkward since it seems like the show’s producers added this segment just to add conflict and controversy. To me, it didn’t really fit the natural flow since the show was over for all intents and purposes. But still it was fun to watch…

Don’t you just love how much alcohol is available in the “stew” room. You can tell that filming takes long to complete cause at the end, dey all bus up.
Always get alcohol. Makes for good television!
